A young guest on my blog. :)

Today I'm having a young guest on my blog. :)

My 8 year old son made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
The challenge this time was "Stencil it".

He used Distress inks in the colors Stormy Sky and Chipped Saphire, and blended it onto
the panel with a blending tool, and then flicked some water on. When it was dry he applied modeling paste through a star stencil. (Waiting for the paste to dry was super boring! ;) )

He used a die from My Favorite Things to cut the banner, and stamped Happy Birthday, using the MISTI stamp tool and Versafine ink.

He used the Scor Pal to score the card base, and adhered his panel on it. The banner with the sentiment is mounted on foam tape.

I really hope you like his card! :)
He was very happy with it, and pointed out that he's just a beginner, and not like me, "who make like maybe FIVE cards a year!!" LOL!

Stencil and stamp is from Practical Publishing. (It was a freebie in a magazine.)
The large stitched panel, and the small fishtail banner are dies from My Favorite Things.

Thank you for stopping by! :)

(PS. He would love some kind comments on his card. :) )

Sending you warm hugs is from the Merry Christmoose stamp set from My Favorite Things.

Driving home for christmas ♥

I saw this idea somewhere on Pinterest or Instagram, and just had to make my own.
Found the PERFECT car today! Looking at this makes me ridiculously happy! :D LOVE it! ♥

The car is bought in a Vivo bookstore, it's a Classic 1967 Beetle, from Kinsmart,
and the christmas tree is from Nille. Twine from Doodlebug.

Trykkpressa november 2015 (Entry #3)

My third and last entry for Trykkpressa november 2015.

I got the new Hot Cocoa Cups die-set yesterday, along with the Merry Christmoose stamp set,
both from My Favorite Things. Had a chance to play with them today, so I made this CAS-card.
I was going to add some enamel dots, but decided I wanted the super clean look, to keep all the focus on the hot chocolate mug. :)

I've also used a stitched rectangle from Blueprints 13, and Pierced Rectanlges, also from My Favorite Things.

Stamps and Hello die from Simon Says Stamp. The heart is stamped with Brilliance Dew Drop Galaxy Gold.

To make the panel I used the Pierced Fishtail Flags from My Favorite Things. I glued the black and white diecuts on a piece of cardstock, and then placed the stitched square die from Blueprint 14 on top, and cut a striped panel.

The heart and hello is mounted on 3D foamtape.

Enamel dots from Papirdesign.

Vodka latte, to go...

This is Granny Gertz, from Eat Cake Grapics. I thought this sentiment from Art Impressions
would fit great.

Granny Gertz is painted with Distress ink pads and reinkers.

I've used dies from the Blueprints 14, from My Favorite Things. The flower in this die set was a little too big for this card, so I used a flower from Cuttlebug instead. Papers from My Minds Eye.

Another card, made from the same "recipe". Not sure where the paper is from.

Tv die from QuicKutz, sentiment from Ankas Design. I've also used the Pierced Fishtail Flags die from My Favorite Things. Chevron stamp from Prima Marketing.
